Moving around in Goa
Buses: Local buses are cheap and plenty and
the route Baga -- Calangute is a fast connection
(you can go to the market for 3 rupees only).
However, most tourists choose other alternatives so
they can move about faster.
Bike Rent: Widley available - Scooters, motor bikes and the
admired Big Enfield for something like 150 - 200 rupees a day.
Taxis: In every corner, still cheap but not as renting a
bike.
Rickshaw: Mostly in market areas. Cheaper than Taxi's
and more noisy but great Fun!!

By now Goa is so populated by tourists that the
big help-your-self supermarkets have popped up
in many places stocking up on many imported items.
So basically you can find nearly anything you want -
from mosquito repellent to best sunscreens,
all medications including homeopathic &
ayurvedic etc...

essential for your stay, please let us know and we'll
