About The Wood

Backs and sides: Being in India it makes sense to use wood of Indian origin & seeing as Indian rosewood is one of the most sought after tonewoods for guitars, it is this wood that we use for the back and sides, fingerboards and bridges.
All backs and sides are book matched and thinned to approximate thickness.

Wood use for the back and sides, fingerboards and bridges for Guitars at that Jungle Guitars

Sound board: Bookmatched spruce, pine or cedar are used for the soundboard which I have imported, usually of European or Canadian origin. Some Himachal pine is also available (Himalayan).

Neck: For the neck we have Mahogany

Rosette: For the rosette I use a Marquetry technique and I have a large selection of veneers used for this.
